Sharon Miller: The Rest Of the Story 

The Rest of the Story is a follow up to the courageous stories told in God is Bigger Than Your Grief of amazing Christians that drew closer to Christ through their grief. 

In the chapter3, “Why did you let them die?”, Sharon tells the story of surviving the death of her middle son Jeff, who died of Burkitts Lymphoma.  Her story reveals the miracle of Christ’s healing during grief not for a day or a year but a lifetime.

Jeff passed away on his 6th birthday and that was 32yrs. ago. I still think of him every day and have told many who have lost their loved ones-you never get over it  you just learn to live with it!

Our family has grown since then--we have one son Stephen who has taken over the family construction business and his wife Tracy, who is a teacher's aide and they have two daughters Alyssa 12yrs. and Alayna 8yrs. old.

Our daughter Marla is a kitchen designer and her husband Mike is a carpenter and they have one son Bryce 7yrs. and daughter Breyn 3yrs.

Mike and I are so blessed to have all these precious people in our family!

This scripture has helped me--Rom.8:37-39--For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus!!

I look forward to the day when we can all be with Jeff forever and never be separted again!
